I am rather pleased with the look and feel of the website I’ve been working on for Cap City Contracting, Bobby’s carpentry and home repair services. Having had some practice with my own site here has helped things move along more smoothly, but really, enough can’t be said for having an actual service to promote!! 🙂
A clear focus speeds things up more significantly than any other factor.
It’s definitely much easier to market something than it is to market nothing. But, if one can have any success at all marketing nothing, I’d say that is really something.
I’ll be adding more pictures and testimonials as they come in and also adding a listing on Yelp, and Google Business as soon as my verification comes in the mail. I spent a fair amount of time making the logo and the header and getting them positioned correctly, but also A LOT of time has gone into understanding how all of the tools available link up together. Particularly social media accounts and all of the webmaster tools provided by Google, as well as other tools and plugins through WordPress and others that I cannot recall of the the top of my head because there are SO MANY.
Plus, I have broken my own site more than once and have managed to fix it myself, so that’s boosted my confidence a bit. And there is still so much to learn. Thankfully, steep learning curves are kind of my thing. I don’t know what I would do if I knew what I was doing!
I’ve got to get a handle on setting up funnels and such, and hopefully I’ll gain more clarity about what I can offer that will be of value on my own site soon too.
Anyway, check it out if you like and let me know if you encounter any issues. If you are local to Austin and need any work done to keep your home in top shape, give Bobby at Cap City Contracting a call. Thanks and have a lovely day!
