Surveys for Money: Are They For Real? Survey Junkie

(Last Updated On: October 21, 2019)

Alright, let’s get down to brass tacks. All these advertisements claiming that you can make money just by answering a few questions online from the comfort of your home…are these surveys for money real?

I’ve tried maybe six or seven different survey platforms in an effort to earn some money online without having to sell anything to anyone. Or, at least without having to market anything. I hadn’t planned on writing a post about ALL of the options available for making money taking surveys, but that’s okay because most of them are terrible. Never had I ever been harrassed by telemarketers before. In my previous manifestation of myself, I would have been hard-pressed to sign up for ANYTHING with my email and/or phone number. But, I made the mistake of using my real phone number when I first began my exploration into this easy money-making opportunity.

The number of sales calls I get now, and in particular, the number of scams coming my way via telephone is outrageous. I’m hoping it will dial down soon, and in the meantime, I’ve started using a fake phone number when I sign up to receive any type of email. When I pinpoint the responsible parties, I will make a separate post to help you head off the telephonic harassment you’ll endure without such information.

Survey Junkie Dashboard

For this post, we will focus on the ONE legitimate survey for money offer that I have found. Survey Junkie. I was skeptical at first, but they actually live up to all of their claims. I have collected over $200 in cash, sent directly to my PayPal since signing up. I’ve also been referred from one survey on Survey Junkie to another platform where I participated in a survey about fashion choices that I completed over several weeks and cashed out just under $300 for my time.

You can choose to be paid by gift card, or through PayPal, and every 1,000 points will get you $10, which is the minimum to cash out. From the time I submitted my first claim, less than 24 hours passed before the money showed up in my PayPal account. I had taken approximately 52 surveys, some longer than others, and cashed out $14.38.

It’s unlikely that you will even earn minimum wage unless you are very efficient, but Survey Junkie surveys will pay better than nothing without requiring too much exertion; in fact, you don’t even have to get out of bed.

Click below to sign up now and you’ll have a few extra dollars in your pocket for the holidays!
